Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Another Mas 36

Anyone in America looking for a MAS-36 local guy has one for sale marked and matching everywhere but the forestock is not numbered. Great condition. Cursive L block 80xxx. Would that make it 1945? He is asking $550. If interested PM me.

Re: Brazilian Mausers

Thank you . I got to look at my Chilean mausers. Sounds like I got the wrong slings from Gander. Maybe they are Brazilian or Spanish. They have not been out in 12 years. Those are some nicely stamped intact crests that have not been worn smooth. We no longer see South American Mausers at guns shows...

Brazilian Mausers

Do you have any actual Brazilian original slings to show?      Please how about a nice crest view. Do they all have a Brazilian crest on the rifles? No slings but plenty of crests https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180714/3921a4afd7bd15b1b2285ead921b208a.jpg h...

Re: Chilean Mauser Long Rifles

Why does the crest in Ball's book look so different? I am on page 39 of Balls, " Mauser Military Rifles of the World , second ed, 2000 and both pictures show the same crest . Just that the photo on the right of an 1895 rifle is from a poorly stamped example. A poor photo. Balls 1893 crest is the sa...

Chilean Mauser Long Rifles

Anyone know when all the bolt parts started becoming numbered? They are numbered on my 1895 but not my 1893? Why does the crest in Ball's book look so different? Do only some have dates under the stock Cartouche? Seems both my 1893 and 1895 are zeroed to 300m and have the single side spring which wo...

Re: Chilean Mauser Long Rifles

Curious if the sling on the 1893 is original The sling is incorrect from what little shows. It appears to be a 1903 Springfield US sling. On my 1895 Chilean Mausers I got this type of sling with the rifles when Gander Mountain sold tons of 1895 rifles at $165 back around 2007/8???? For what I think...

Re: Chilean Mauser Long Rifles

I recently acquired what I believe to be an original all matching 1893 Chilean Mauser that was originally meant for the Boers (C Block) to go with my 1895 Chilean Mauser which I have had for a few years. Curious if the sling on the 1893 is original and what the stipling on the stock is from. The 18...

Brazilian Mausers

My current Brazilian Mauser collection. All are all matching except for the 1922 Carbine which is mostly matching. The stock and bolt parts were replaced however the bolt handle and other parts are matching. I am in search of original and matching Brazilian 1894 Long & Carbine 1907 Long & Carbine 19...

Re: Another Mas 36

My only MAS 36 is an "M Series" 1946 which looks to have been thru a rebuild. PPU sell the 7.5 french ammo. Fun to shoot...but NO SAFETY! Second from right in pic No need for a safety on a bolt rifle. How many times has anyone ever used the safety on a Mauser or Mosin Sent from my XT1585 using Tapa...

Re: Another Mas 36

Very nice rifle. I too have taken a liking to the French MAS. I'm still looking for an all matching wartime MAS-36.

Re: CMP 1911 Sales

My FFL has a pdf version of his license on his website. If your FFL won't send to CMP find a new one. Transfers should be $40 tops which is what the first one costs me, $20 for second, $10 for third, each additional no charge. Though some dealers in NJ charge up to $100. Is paying more than $40 agai...

What is the reason for coating the bullets? Does it save on bore life? Increase accuracy?

Re: California indoor water rules

This is ridiculous. 55 gallons of water a day for a family of 4. That means low flow shower head and each get take a 5 minute shower and you are at 40 gallons, standard toilet each flush twice a day and there is another 13 gallons, standard newer washing machine 27 gallons, newer dishwasher 6 gallon...
