Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Browning has ceased producing Hi Power

Don't be surprised if Browning starts limited production "classic" reissues every few years to meet pent-up demand. They stopped making the t-bolt .22 for a few years, and now it's back in production and selling. and/or partners up with Talo or some other group for extra limited edition engraved ve...

Re: Need a 45 Long Colt rifle load

20gr of H4227 does well for me with the 250 gr bullet, out of a modern 92 action. I don't know if it is safe in a Henry action. It is a starting load listed for Ruger & T/C pistols (max 24.6gr, FYI). I've got lots of 4227, so I use it. H4227 isn't available anymore, but new IMR 4227 is. If I had H11...

Re: WHEEL WEIGHTS

A couple years ago I drove to every tire dealer in town, new and used tire dealers. I hit them all but the auto dealerships and Walmart. After 18 stops, only one would give up some wheel weights (about 1/2 a 5gal bucket). One offered to sell me some for $5/lb. Most said they had deals with local scr...

Re: Rust.

Oil and superfine steel wool, or if you'd prefer something softer, some of the brass or copper wool. Some use a penny, heard of some using a piece of spent brass too.

Re: GUN OIL

I have some gun oil, motor oil and transmission fluid that have all worked well for me. Can't say that one worked better than the other, but I've not been in 100+F sandy/dusty conditions for more than a couple hours, nor have I been out in subzero temps for more than a couple hours at a time with my...

Re: Are all AR15 front sight towers

I don't know what you are asking. Are the front sight blocks all the same? No. There are many different varieties. A1 and A2 varieties, with and without bayonet lugs, low mounts with and without a rail to mount a front sight, flip up front sights, etc. As you mentioned, they do come sized for differ...
