Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Was a member on old forum

Welcome back and compliments to you on your choice of your first C&R license purchase! The K31 is my fave milsurp. I was also a past member (since 2008) and returned this February but have had no luck at all in hearing any response from administration about regaining full access to this forum, despi...

Re: Hello from from the Ouachitas

Arky65, You’re already on a good path, starting off with a few great classics... the K31 and a M44. The Swiss rifle is my personal favorite and you will find that there is a wealth of knowledge here (and elsewhere), especially if this board regains its former glory and I have little doubt that it wi...

Re: Is it worth it?

Well worth it even if you only buy a few rifles each year. Eliminating the need for an 01FFL to become part of your process is worth it alone.

Re: Reloading for the K31

There has been many post recently about removing fired Berdan Primers. There seems to be a misconception that removing these primers are so hard to do. It could not be further from the truth. I will be showing you how to use the RCBS Berdan De-Capping Tool... Great write-up! I’ve always saved my GP...

Re: Reloading dies for 7.5 swiss

It isn't the chamber size, its the die makers got the taper wrong for the 1911 rifles. Had they made the dies for GP-11 there would be no problem. They used fired cases from a K-31. My God, seriously? Using fired cases (from any firearm) as a baseline for designing dies to be used by the an entire m...

Thanks! As I surf a bit, I recognize a lot of the user names... bought/sold rifles with many, good to “see” you all again!

New/old forum member

Joined in 2008 but fell off a bit after back-to-back deployments 2010-2017. Intially, I thought that my account was deleted for infrequent use until Todd at FFF told me the cause of the board’s disruption. All that aside, nice to be back on what was always my favorite gun forum.
