Re: old water stained butt stock

it's a Carcano... don't know what kind of wood. But the satin is black stains. I'm guessing it was in a flooded basement?

There's one stain that's almost gone with the bleached scouring powder I used.

old water stained butt stock

Hi all,
I have a butt stock water stained and it looks like it's been that way for a long time. I tried bleach and water and scouring powder with bleach, next up tooth paste with whitening in it. Any other ways please share.

Thank you in advance

The bore is good to very good... the grooves are slightly dark.... Haven't scrubbed it out really good since I had i...

1917 Eddystone barrel

Hey All, I have an Eddystone with a JA barrel. It shoots pretty good considering, but a guy I know was there with me, knew what to look for and didn't say anything about the JA. I took this rifle for the stock over other ones with the E barrel. Was wondering if anyone knew who might have a E barrel....

Re: 96' 1899 Carl Gustaf

Thanks Sheepdawg... watched a vid...and yeah why have the 6,51 and 2-9?? Doesn't make sense if they were that picky about bore dimensions. 6.51mm is .251 groove 6.52mm is .256 groove and so on.... but running a .264 bullet diameter?? 6.46mm is .254 groove and so on...... whats with the undersized gr...

96' 1899 Carl Gustaf

Hi All, My rifle has a very low serial number... is that common? 8215 is the beginning of that year? The stock disk info is confusing to me and any info I found on the net doesn't help. A friend told me about the throat erosion and it's marked 1 on the disk, but the rest is confusing. http://www.rca...
