Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Youch! Pricey item....they going that high?
That’s not a bad price for a NOS USGI keystone stock. Northridge International has them NIB for almost $500. Prices just continue to rise....don’t even look at pre war C stock prices. ;)

New to me 1903

Picked this one up recently. Ive had a soft spot for pre war C stocks lately and couldn't pass this one up. Id like to think this is an original 1903A1, but, wishful thinking. ;) https://i.imgur.com/CfbXNawl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/yyDT4PLl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/HXXmJnil.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Qx...

My No.4 Mk.2

Recently acquired this one. All matching 1953 Fazakerley No.4 Mk 2. Barrel looks new. I have been without an Enfield for awhile now, and while I was actively searching for a wartime production example, this one was just too nice to pass up. https://i.imgur.com/FPIOboW.jpg https://i.imgur.com/GYrr5So...

Re: Kar98k BCD 4

Where do you find these beautiful rifles in such great shape? ( My BCD 41 looks like it was used as a club in hand-to-hand combat!) Explain the kreigs stock? german navy? It looks laminated? DId you treat the stock? thanks for the post Kriegsmodell (war model) stocks were those made during the late...

Re: My No 4 Mk 1 (T)

The Enfield is the sharpest 'glass wearing' rifle of WWII, rivaled only by a high turret Mauser. Imho.

Nice! Congrats. Do you have plans to do more with it than the previous owner?
I plan to shoot it. Never owned a gun that was strictly a safe queen. Can't usually afford those type of guns. ;)

"Correct" grade HRA Garand.

Wanted to share my "correct" grade HRA M1 Garand. Barrel date 11-54. Picked it up from a local gentleman who purchased it in 2015 from the north store. Certificate confirms this. Never even removed the CMP tag. https://imageshack.com/a/img922/2687/Ge8DMC.jpg https://imageshack.com/a/img922/9465/jF3p...

Re: Price check on an M1903

I am very well aware that it will be a 'run of the mill' 1903, and that it will be a -fake- 1903a1. I am not against using a commercial stock, however it seems there are more negative reviews out there than positive when it comes to fit and wood quality. I am also wanting to recreate a 1903a1, not a...

Re: M1941 USMC sniper rifle

Calfed, The Leatherwood reproduction is junk in my opinion. The mounts are really just base metal and will not remain tight, but the scope has similar problems with screws that won't tolerate too much stress and as you know some are very tiny! I had a Unertl 12x scope with very fine crosshairs whic...

Price check on an M1903

I have been in the market for an M1903 for quite some time, however I cannot seem to bite the bullet and pull out the ol plastic. I have a few requirements, one being obvious - a good bore, and two, a C stock. I plan to send the rifle off and have a Unertl scope mounted to represent a USMC Sniper ri...

Nice looking rifle, looks to have been very well taken care of, or shot very little.

Hello

Hello everyone, was a longtime member under the name "hemiman." Been awhile since I've been here, as I had gotten out of the surplus world. Well, I'm back. Been in the market for an M1903 and I'll tell ya, things have changed. Checked all the local shops and pawns, found three. All well over 2k for ...
