Re: Yugo M67 Sealed Crate Value

I guess I'm jaded because I am already sitting on plenty. That's why I ask you guys.

So, I should add another ten bucks?

Yugo M67 Sealed Crate Value

Fellow close by offering the 1120 count crate (which is w/ stripper clips?). Wants $450, which I'm not paying.

Thought I'd start him around $300 and concede $350 if it works out.

I calculated that $336 is 0.30 per round and what I'd call fair for brass on strippers.

Sound close?

Thanks.

M1895 Nagant, '32 Tula

Just recently snagged my first ever sealed can of Nagant ammo, so I dug the revolver out of the safe for a bit of sunlight. I hemmed and hawed over getting one when they were common for $100, then they disappeared. About 2 years later, I scored this one face to face for about the same, so I feel for...

The 2020 "Make Surplus Rifles Great Again" Challenge

When I stumbled into my first surplus rifle, a "Bubba'd" Polish Mosin Nagant M44, it was this forum that set me straight. Showed me what I had and filled me in on the lay of the land for milsurps. Since, I've come to rely on the collective knowledge found here to compare and contrast, to gain a bett...

Re: Milsurp Aquisition In These Modern Times, Russian SKS

I thought all the SKS rifles this late had chromed bores. I've not cleaned it yet, but it does not look chromed to me.

Re: Russian SKS value?

It's matching and very clean. It is import marked. I haven't pulled it fully apart for the big cleaning, but opened it up enough to verify condition.

Re: Russian SKS value?

Thanks. I took a rather circular path of trading to get to it, but I estimate I paid about $650. I'm glad I wasn't raked over the coals in my haste...

It's very clean and looks well cared for. I haven't torn it down yet, just popped it open enough to make sure that the moving parts were there and shiny.

Milsurp Aquisition In These Modern Times, Russian SKS

At the end of our last episode, we had picked up the 91/30, the M44 and 3 spam cans. Returning to town and inspecting the haul, it was decided to let the 91/30 and one can go. We were happy for a day or two... Today, I discovered someone wanting to trade a Russian SKS, which derailed my "big plans"....

Re: Milsurp Acquisition In These Modern Times, M44

Well, I never got to shoot it. Traded the M44, a spam can and some more Benjamins for a Russian SKS. I still have one spam can (and a half dozen stripper clips) from that whole deal, though...

Russian SKS value?

Yeah, it's me again.

Local fellow has a 56 Russian in very good condition and we are hammering out a trade.

We are about $200 apart on the deal value and I thought I'd check in here.

Not many pics, so far.
