I don't have one! I should have bought one years ago when they were $ 150 !! stupid me!

My original post was in reference to the one they had in the magazine & just thought their estimated value was goofy!

M1895 in American Rifleman

The April issue of American Rifleman ( I have this old gun ) has an early, unaltered Tula M1895 with No Import Mark. They said value was about $ 650?

Is this right? Seems like only a few years ago a my old pawn shop was selling a them for $150 each?

The only reason I have FB is seeing pics of our children, grand children and distant relatives. I think this is a good reason to be on FB.

Wow. I love niw stuff. I don't have an M14 or an M1A that takes detactabke mags. Though my 1998 cmp M1 Garand is marked M1A on the heel of the reciever. As well as an "A" after the serial number. Thats how tgey shipped it to me. Interesting story. And while i don't have one i still track parts and ...

I read somewhere that they found a few back in their warehouse and they quickly sold out. They said they don't expect to get 1903s any time soon.
