Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: My CMP 1911A1

It certainly does have that new "old gun" feel all surplus weapons have to me. Can't wait to get to range with it, think I'll put her through the paces against my 1917 USGI S&W revolver.

Re: My CMP 1911A1

A friend of mine said there is one on Gunbroker already. I haven't bothered to look but don't doubt it.

My CMP 1911A1

Recieved my pistol yesterday and am pretty satisfied with it. It has a Colt frame serial # has it 1942 with correct WB inspector mark. Slide is Colt as well. I removed firing pin stop and unfortunately it doesn't have a serial number present. I really didn't expect it to match but would have been ni...

1903 A3 REAR SIGHT APERTURE MOVES.

Just wondering if anyone has experience fixing the rear aperture on a 1903a3. I have had the rifle for some time now and finally had time and distance to actually shoot. I set up a target and after a few shots thought I was having a real bad day shooting. I then noticed the sight had moved to bottom...

Pierced primer in Trapdoor.

I have a really nice 1888 Trapdoor rifle that I finally got around to shooting with Black Hills 405 FBL ammo. I was able to hit 500 meter gong regularly and 300 was almost automatic. I bought another box and I went out to shoot a few months later. After a few rounds I took a break and noticed that t...

Re: Martini Henry Mark 1

Thanks for all the replies! I can't wait to get her up and running.
I am indeed lucky to have a wife that although is not into firearms per se but, enjoys seeing me happy. I have several nice rifles and pistols that I would never have got with out her encouragement and prodding.

Martini Henry Mark 1

Wife got me this for my Birthday. It came cleaned from IMA. Has pitting at and under wood line, wood is excellent as well as bore. I have never loaded for black powder cartridge before and searching for components I see it may be a little bit of challenge for me. You can see pitting around wood line...

Beretta 1935 4UT

Picked this beauty up a few months ago and thought I would share. Came with holster and 2 magazines. Looks practically unfired, not a scratch on it. The guy I got it from claims he picked it up from a WWII veteran's wife years ago.
