Re: Found some surplus 8mm.

Turk is not stout,it's loaded to real German specs. The rest of the worlds ammo is weaker for some reason. Both ammo's you mention are corrosive. Both shoot well at long range. I found the Turkish ammo to be pretty accurate when I was shooting 8mm. Really hard on the shoulder, but accurate. I like ...

Re: US ARMY USING BB GUNS

We did this in place of annual qualification in Germany during the budget crunch years (mid 70s IIRC). Same name, close up with emphasis on quickly engaging targets at close range.

Re: VZ24 in 7mm

That Brazilian Military Police rings a bell. I can't find the purchase information right now. We have been doing a lot of house and shed cleaning here. Trying to get rid of years of useless clutter. I can actually work in my workshop now! Thanks for the information. Hope all is well with you and you...

Re: 98/22

Thank you. It is a little hard on my arthritic shoulder but accurate. That glow comes from a lot of hand rubbing.

Re: Sharing: My 1911.

These are some of my 1911 projects. All are in .45ACP. All were a lot of fun to put together. That shiny "pimp gun" probably took the most man hours. Sanding and polishing the stainless frame and slide.

Link for SRF Target 2014 please.

I saw the notification for the winter .22 rifle competition but cannot find the link to print the target from. I know, it is just my feeble old mind but please help. On a side note, did ya ever have one of those days when every thing you touch turns to scheisse? That is the kind of day I am ha...

Re: CARL GUSTAFSSTADS GEVARSFAKTORI 1919 w/Elite 101 sights.

After I retired for the second time I used to deliver buses into Memphis. I like that city. Used to come through there on my way to and from Kansas when I was stationed at Ft. Benning before I retired in '91.
