Re: Gun shows

Kpcasey ???? I do not see the S or H stamp so that my be an original 8x50R chambering not a 8x56R. 8x50R is make your own ammo. Hard to come by. 8x56R is easy to buy. my list from the old forum on things to look at with surplus rifles: What you will pay a gunsmith is twice the cost of a field gauge ...

Re: Using another bolt assembly to fix headspace?

If your bolt matches I would switch the bolt heads and then it may take 5 or so to find one that actually times in . Not all bolt heads are the same measurement, you can actually find a #2 that is longer than#3. The rifle may just be too far gone and you have to set the barrel back. At one time ther...

Re: Would this be a good price?

I would get one from Todd. If no C & R find a transfer dealer in your area. His stuff was always top grade. Here in WI it can be 25-50 bucks for the transfer. Most of the local hardware stores that sell guns do a transfer. In Il, who knows with all there anti gun rules. Move to WI and you have the h...

Re: Found Eddystone for Sale

Is it a farm boy sporter or a nice gunsmith modification with a bishop stock/work of art? The front sight has to come off for some of ...
