Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: repost link, How to fix a stock Crack

Way too Extreme stock repair, but some other ideas for those that can not find a replacement stock. I would just rather get a replacement stock. https://www.gun-tests.com/special_reports/long_guns/extreme-stock-repair-spec-report-14897-1.html#.W-7Pgi2ZPfE For oil removal I use the hot car method in ...

Re: Wz 48 polish trainer import ?

Here is an "INTRAC KNOX TN ARMS" import mark on a WZ 48 barrel. It seems most are import marked, few if any are missing import marks. Click on photo it enlarges to see the mark. It seems back in 2011 -2013 just about everyone was trying to sell these around $160-200. Hard to believe that they are ha...

Re: repost link, How to fix a stock Crack

Remember use Brownells Acraglas, Devcon, clear, 2 ton epoxy, or a high grade marine epoxy. Other glues just do not stand up to the test of time. Some let lose after the shock of shooting the rifle. NEVER USE Gorilla glue. I use Titebond III to make the dust putty for longer work time. Titebond III w...

Re: repost link, How to fix a stock Crack

As for the dowel I use hard wood and it is smaller than the drilled hole. Some use fiberglass fishing pole segments for pins or small dowels. Bamboo is a good choice too for smaller pins/dowels. If the crack is on the side of a stock one can glue the crack or reenforce the back with fiberglass cloth...

Martin 08 was a former member and this is his updated post that I have provided a link to, it still has its pictures intact. Some of Candyman's posts are now missing photos, so some may find Martin's post helpful. Back in the day he learned from Candyman and his post is excellent information, very w...

Re: Enfield no 1 Mk 5

Here is a better intact example, a collector's treasure: see link with tons of pictures that I also down loaded and printed out. One fine rifle. See wood Stampings shown on an intact wood stock, an intact Enfield wood finish. This was the one to buy, Liberty is way out of whack. Both rifles provide ...

Re: Enfield no 1 Mk 5

I'd buy it at $400 if I saw it at a gun show.... ya I am cheep, but the price is for high rollers.   They fail to show any stock cartouches or marks, I thinkest...  that the finish might be refinished. Wz 48 polish trainer import ?

Does any one know or have information about the Mosin, Polish, .22 trainer WZ 48. I have one that has no import marks. I remember that AIM or SOG had these rifles about 8-10 years ago around $179-200 bucks. Mine has no import marks and came from an estate collection generally purchased between 1955-...

I hope the above author sees this and adds serial nu...
