Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Charles Lipscomb ???

Odd, he can use the same user name, but needs a valid email and new password. Tell him to clear his history, and cookies. I bet his computer is putting the old stuff back into the sign up process. Some automatically put info into the password and name boxes. Then try to reregister or sign in with hi...

Re: 1909 mauser parts

A 1909 peruvian correct Mauser stock will be a difficult find. I rarely see any 1909 actual Peruvian Mausers at gun shows. Not a common Mauser in WI. Lots of luck finding an original. Libertreecollectors does get a few South American Mausers but prices are CRAZY right now. $100 rifle are now $500-60...

Re: 1909 mauser parts

Libertytreecollectors had some about 2 years ago, around $140. I assume you are looking for an Argentine 1909 stock set. Also check with Springfieldsporters, but you most likely will have to call them. My 2003 Mac no longer connects up with the web pages :snooty: :doh Tagmil on ebay had a $170, yeps...

Re: Ammo Display Help

Never , never ship ammo by USPS, they even inspect boxes of books. So if they detect a odd package, they open it for inspection and it's bad news for the sender. Heck, I had a book shipped to me in a turned inside out, USPS priority box, but wrapped in brown paper--- it was opened and because the se...

Or you pay $3000 per hearing aid, no tanks to the USMC. That 90mm gun and the M48 engine took its toll over the years

Re: Military Surplus k98ks commonly found at gun shows

German WW2 K98 Mauser, an interesting Gew Rebuild Here is an odd duck, a K98 made up from a rebuilt GEW 98 in 1937. Not what I would call a cheep or a commonly found K98. I have never seen one of these at a gun show in WI. I wonder how many of these were made? Source is Libertytreecollectors: https...

Does yours have tiny screws at the bands? Odd, I do not see two circles on the faint cartouche? How matching is it part wise? What year is that one? Is it lacking an import mark? Mine has one on the barrel :snooty:

Re: Origins of Obrea pistols?

I could not find info on a .38 Largo cartridge in Cartridges of the world???? I did stumble onto this interesting post about the ammo & pistol. It seems to be a somewhat odd, rare, but inexpensiv revolver. https://www.gunpartscorp.com/forum/hand-guns/hand-guns/i-recently-obtained-a-spanish-revolver-...
