Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: K-31 Price Check

...as for the swiss surplus GP-11, you can't find that anymore on commercial sites, they stopped importing those as well. that price that is on the site, besides being out of stock, is the ancient price. the commercial Prvi Partizan swiss 7.5mm is selling for 75 cents a round... Re: K-31 Price Check

Insane that these $79 Dunhams specials on Black Friday from about 12 -15 years ago are now going at $475-650 depending on sling, troop tag, location of import mark (barrel vs receiver) and walnut stock. Walnuts with a nice grain always go top buck. Bayonets are approximately 80 bucks +. I wish I'd g...

Re: 1916 Spanish Mauser in .308

 Why not buy a gunsmith special second rifle for 149 at a gun show or here and combine the two and you should have a complete but miss-matched rifle? You see these old SAMCO dogs at most guns shows- some are a $125 but the bores are shot or the extractor missing on most. http://www.jgsales.co...

Re: Something fishy in K98s

Anyone have one of these to report on?
We need close ups of all sides of the barrel and the left base of the rear sight. Close up micro views of all the restamped numbers to get a good view of the font and stampings. Mainly depth, width, spacing, and font type.

7mm Mauser ammo info request

Has anyone fired any of this FN 1936 7mm Mauser ammunition? It was $30 a box of 100 so I got two boxes just for the bullets, but has any one fired any of this stuff- does it have dead primers, case splits, hang fires? I am keeping one for display. All we have is snow in WI, 8 inches on Sunday and an...

Re: Something fishy in K98s

see my added comment about the " MITCHCLASSIC" a replica/facsimile K98 rifle. And a caution to the uninformed, you are not getting a bring back, rather you are getting a humped K98 that has been transformed into a fake replica K98 with no historical value or collector value remaining. They look more...

Classic rifle photo shot of import mark on the RC batch: Classic 2nd batch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eEwJK116GA Screen Shot 2018-04-16 at 7.55.49 AM.png . . . . . . Re: Something fishy in K98s

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-okIkNq0XY Yes, on that one batch they seem to be RCs with few to no electrowritten mumbers on the small parts and only that one seemed to still have an electro written # on the bolt. If you look at most of those batches, the RC- ness of most have been removed- few s...

And they have more batches  A sucker is born every day :violin: :shhh: :shhh: I added the dates and types of K98 rifles being sold by Classic over time. It is an interesting progression. Re: WW I Snead Victory Lamp- Morgan Explosion

An interesting German made trench art oil lamp. The source is flee bay photos. This must be somewhat similar in construction to an actual Snead patented OIL LAMP version. I have never seen a picture of an oil lamp version of the Snead lamp and its shade type. Surly, it did not have the helmet or pap...
