Re: So many German rifles lets make lamps out of them

   That is how you get rid of firearms--- just make a lamp out of a bring back K98k or maybe a M1. Or how about all those nasty shotguns you see at shows.... https://ccs.infospace.com/ClickHandler.ashx?encp=ld%3d20180919%26app%3d1%26c%3dgo.02%26s%3dgopherprivate%26rc%3dgo.02%26dc%3d%...

Re: 2018 - Mosin Nagant Prices

At Cabelas- Richfield WI, somewhat south of West Bend, WI the store has 23, Mosin 91/30s both hex and round receivers. The oddest ones I have seen with a nice small, hardly visible import mark on the left side at the wood line, and a tiny new serial number not visible to my eyes-- you need a magnifi...

Re: Rust in Mosin 91/30 chamber

The new batch of Mosins at Cabelas was a nightmare see http://www.surplusrifleforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2608. If you have one of these the chamber should be mirror bright. What I saw was dark chambers and rusted bolts. Basic garbage. So if the import mark is the same, then do some clean up and ...

Re: Cleaning rod for a Carcano M91

Keep looking on gun broker and eBay. About one a year show up. Cost will be around $70-100 for an original. Just log it in on your ebay search list and forget it till an email shows up. You might have better luck buying another dog rusted M91 with its rod at a small gun show. Maybe a redone stock, b...

Re: M1911 not firing when the hammer drops.

I like the idea of sending it back for warranty work since it is new.  Check out a few simple things. The FIRST question is how far did you take down this new pistol? Maybe put back together wrong???? Did you just do a simple field take down for cleaning? OR..... Did you remove the fir...

Re: WW I Snead Victory Lamp- Morgan Explosion

I just was outbid on this interesting piece of paper from the factory. Picture source is from the lost eBay bid. Ha, I beat the dog out with my zapper program at the last second---it is mine at $12  A nice piece of Morgan Factory History! This prayer is a modification of the old Christian/Cat...
