Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

You never know what turns up in trash cans

Looking into some trash bins and I found a 1934-1940 Navy Photo album that belonged to Seaman First Class, Herrbert E. Rodenkirch who is buried at our Woods Veterans Cemetery at the VA center in Milwaukee, WI. He was in recruit platoon 34-16 at San Diego NTS he was born 24 Jan 1912 and died 20 May 1...

Re: Buying and selling

Anytime you want to sell stuff, its junk ( you are lucky if you get 50 % of value) , but if you want to buy -- it's gold. Take a rifle to a dealer, pawn shop,or antique store and see what they offer. :violin: :violin: :violin: It has to generally be person to person trade/sale at a price where the s...

Re: Ethiopian 8x57

The packaging says 1947 because Ethiopia uses its own calendar, which is 7-8 years behind the Gregorian calendar due to differences in determining the date of the annunciation of the birth of Christ. In short, the ammo headstamps are correct and so is the packaging! Ammo Date is 1955. Results, less...

Re: THEY SHALL NOT GROW OLD Trailer (2018)

This is a spectacular British oral history of WW I with equally spectacular colorization of actual footage. It is equal or actually better then Burn' s stuff. See this review: Peter Jackson directs this homage to the British troops of the First World War with never-before-seen-footage of soldiers as...

Re: Springfield Armory M1 Carbine, Blowback CO2 .177cal BB Rifle

While about the problem plagued MP40, this does not reassure me about the warranty service on Taiwan made BB guns; Quote is from Tommy T in the Q & A section comments: He states: No repair service Umarex will not repair any gun under $500. If the gun is under warranty they will replace it, but if th...

Re: D-Day Plus 75 years....

Most missed Oldgunner's 1 comments on D Day if you did not read his "accuracy & thoughts" post, it kind of got lost. I am reposting it here in Rapidrob's oral history D day post: an interesting addition by Oldgunner-- some good comments. A second hand oral history. Re: SOME THOUGHTS ON ACCURACY & OT...

Moved back again to 7/22/2019. Looks like a more realistic arrival date of late fall or just prior to the Christmas rush for gifts  :shifty:  :violin: :violin:
