Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: My $99 CZ-52

Many of us have changed out grips and no problem one clip old grips back on and its original. As to the question of stoning it down personally I would be skeptical but I would probably first put some dye on it to find out how much wear you're actually getting. Stoning it down would give a cosmetic l...

Re: CZ ( VZ ) 50 quality question

Without pics and who the supplier is an awful hard query to answer.

Based on old world prices (10-15yrs ago) if they are sound and work, the price is sound.

Re: Israeli K98

The Israeli contract as stated was made up of left overs, battlefield pick ups and new manufacture. Israel just needed arms, unlike the Arctic K98 which for the most part was new or NOS; this model was a cash cow to fill up the coffers of the depleted CZ government and arms industry. I have 2 Israel...

Re: Recover old board posts?

All the members old, new and future really appreciate any efforts by anyone to help regain posts and historical knowledge. Some say that social media will replace "forums", well for general chit chat maybe, for perhaps discussion perhaps but look at it in the long run; if we don't find a way to pres...

Re: Vz 24 with potential German markings.

The Sling does not look correct. Neither do the Waffenampts on the rifle. I think someone bought some stamps from Poland. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk Yea they don't look right to me but there's so many small details I wanted to make sure. I paid the normal vz24 price thankfully because it is...

Re: Vz 24 with potential German markings.

I've got a vz. 24 with a k-98 stock and bolt. And it has Waffenamp stamp marks in a couple spots. When the Germans invaded Czechoslovakia they seized Brno and all its inventory. Its not unusual to find vz. 24s that were pressed into service. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180331/5218e93451db937...

Re: Persian VZ 24

I believe the their is some misleading/erroneous information posted at least for the for the first contract models the 98/29. They were the cream of the crop and prime dollars were paid for premier craftsmanship which can be verified by everyone of who have them. You can't get any dreamier that them...

Re: Serial number and barrel date

I have a HRA Garand where the receiver is made in Feb 1954 (coming up on it's 64th birthday). but the barrel, also made by HRA, is stamped /-54. which I'm figuring it's 7-54 (july 1954), the 7 wasn't a solid strike. could be a lot of wartime barrel were made before the receivers, but that doesn't h...

Re: CIA u fix em CZ70

Hello, my first post on the new forum. Does anybody have any information on the CIA u fix em CZ70? I let my C&R expire so I can't even see the price. Send me a PM if you are not comfortable posting the price. I was thinking if these were a deal I may get 2 or 3. I'm on vacation. I also let my C&R e...

Re: CZ 24

With wood grips I'd consider it, especially since mine cost more 100 %, 10 yrs ago.

Condition would be my prime concern. At that price it needs a good eye or you bumped into a good deal.
