Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Type 97 sniper rifle

Timing is everything they say , and good timing and a little bit of luck has paid off for me. I found my Kokura scope this past weekend, complete with carrying case, lense brush, lense rag, and original Japanese instruction sheet. Now to get a new rubber eye cup and I am in business. 100_5263 (2).JP...

Type 97 sniper rifle

Kind of stumbled into this one but I am glad I did, all numbers matching and original except for the butt plate and the reproduction Monopod.
Now to find a nice Kokura 2.5x scope for it.

Re: M1903a4 sniper rifle

Yes sir, 03A4's never where fitted with front sights. Additionally you will notice the reciever stamp says 03A3, this was done so of the rifle didnt meet standards the scope set up could be removed, front sight installed, and the rifle issued out as a regular 03A3. But unlike the regular production...

So is a double date, triple date, MO marked sniper a rare animal?
I have seen many ex-snipers so marked, but less than a hand full legit snipers

1944 Izhevsk PU sniper / MO marked 48/51

Wasn't really looking to buy another PU sniper but the fact that this one is one of the few legit PU snipers imported by CAI, and a 1944, and MO stamped to boot peaked my interest. Curious what your opinion is of the quality of the scope-- Just got it this past Friday, havent had a chance to take it to the range yet. My initia...
