Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Poke Holes in my Logic - I want to submit this to my Rep for possible legislative fix.

You did an awesome job in your writeup, and made a lot of valid points. But in my years of writing congressional complaints, the old adage of KISS was reminded to me over and over. Make it too long or too technical they lose interest real quick. Too much background information and the ideal gets los...

Re: Millitary style weapons quesrion

They use the term to describe AR15, AK and SKS styled rifles as they are semiautomatic and they believe they have no purpose in civilian hands. It's the new buzz wore.

Though you are technically correct the Mauser style action is the basis of modern bolt action hunting rifles.

Re: Spurs

It depends. If there is any decoration it will only be on one side, so there is a left and a right spur. Some simple spurs, like this Buermann pair, are interchangeable. Cool, thank you for the education. From some pictures I've seen the leather portion that goes over the front of the boot appeared...

Re: Spurs

I know nothing about spurs other than how it's spelt, that said dumb question time. Is there a left and right or are they interchangeable?

Re: Armi San Marco

Wow did a search of the usual dealers....all out! Might need to do some research and see if any of the other manufacturers wedges are compatable. Wasn't ASM absorbed by another company, or did they make guns for other companies?

I have an ASM 1851 Navy don't know if it's the same wedge.

Mike, Did you ever see tin equipment or parts boxes like that in the Air Force? Do you know anything about the unit and where it was? Captain Paul W. Harn, 17th depot RE Air squadron It's actually the 17th Depot Repair Squadron, they spent some time in Italy and North Africa. If you scroll down to ...

Re: CZ Picture Test

Posted pictures, I see three, are clear and easy to open into close up mode. Good job. For a while there whenever I tired to attach pictures to a post, I was told they were too big. No matter what I did I could not get it to work. When the site first re-opened I had no issue posting pictures. So fo...

Re: CZ Picture Test

Would love to pick up a CZ 82 to go with them. Then I start thinking maybe I should pick up the other CZ pistols also and then my wife gives me a what for look. She loves the 83 and is deadly accurate with it.

CZ Picture Test

Test run to see if I can upload pictures again. Here's my Czech pistols. A 1953 (Numbers matching) CZ-52 (Have the holster dated 53, 2 magazines, cleaning rod and a manual for it, picked it up for $250.00, 100 rounds came with it.) and a 1991 CZ-83 (Non-import marked) which I still have the original...

Re: Numbered Parts

I'm a weirdo I guess, but I prefer them as they came out of military service, IE mismatched. Sure one that is true FACTORY ORIGINAL would be cool, but it wouldn't have much of a story/history to me. There are those that will hunt for the correct parts to make it original, but to me it becomes a mess...

Re: My Liege marked M91

Nice, I wonder if they really are that rare? Perhaps uncommon would be a better position. Hard to say...I have found 7.62x54R Net to be a reliable source. As previously noted, they rate the Liege proof model as an 8 on a 10 point rarity scale. I have a "Stepped" barrel Tikka 1927 M-91 that 7.62x54R...
