Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

How about setting in the classroom in school, and the teacher passing out mimeographed papers? I remember the smell and if they were fresh enough, how warm they would be.
And the fact that everyone picked up their paper and smelled it. The smell was a mix of alcohol and something.

Re: Spurs and the Great West

"Just when I thought I was out they pull me back in." No, that's not Michael Corleone speaking, it's me. Ffuries tipped me off to a comprehensive list of TV series. So far I'm only through the letter E and I've found 16 that weren't on my original list. This could be a lifetime work, but I'll sprin...

Re: Very strange WW 2 battle

I just watched this on TV this evening. I had to rewind it, as I missed something and couldn't figure out why Germans were shooting at Germans along side Americans. The show is part of the "Hitler's Last Stand" series with the episode being "Enemy Allies" Season 1 Episode 4. With a description of: "...

Re: Some Czech pistols.

Some? I think you got the market cornered there. Nice collection there that is for sure. I echo the remark and would love to see a rundown on what you have there. I've only have 3 total a 1953 CZ52 and two 1991 CZ83s (Not US made 83s, but made in Czechlosovakia and not import marked, bought them new...

Thanks everyone for participating. Check out page 37 of this thread for Laredo.

Another tool that fits in the anvil hardy hole is a large pair of shears used for cutting sheet metal.
Yeap there it is, thank you for letting me know where it is.

Re: Spurs and the Great West

During Operation Desert Storm at night, when we would hit the rack, the older guys I shared a hooch with would list the Westerns that came on when they were kids. Mind you I was a young E4 Sergeant and was born in 66, some of these guys were Vietnam Veterans. I might still have the notebook with the...

The Roy Rogers Show ran on TV from 1951-57. The Double R Ranch featured "The King of the Cowboys" Roy, his "Smartest Horse in the Movies" Trigger, "Queen of the West" Dale, her horse Buttermilk, their dog Bullet, and even Pat's jeep, Nellybelle. Roy Rogers (born Leonard Slye) moved to California in...

Your kids remark you smell like mothballs and bengay. Had a coworker that smelled like that, I called it his Old Man Cologne.

Re: TOO BAD

Yeah Panama City Florida temps suck this time or year. Hell I hate going down to the mailbox and it's only about to 50 feet from the front door. But you come back soaking wet from the sweat, the temps have been in the mid to high 90's here with that ungodly humidity.

Well fellas, here's the refresher of my original post, in which I could have misheard what was said or presumed what was meant: Wrapping up my barter Kali paper chase, of 2 Mongrel SKS and 2 Big 5 91/30's, for my FFL bud's cherry picked SVT40 20 years ago. While chatting I happened to asked if he h...

The one holding the pole and reaching for the whisky bottle appears to be white. You know I thought that also, Alone with the man in upper row on the left with the strip on his arm, and Mr Pan holder... Now that rascal with the pan must have loved his fatback ... Wow sounds like you did well, look forward to the pictures. Congrats! Depending on where the ammo came from, you're looking at about $300.00 just there.
