Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Teaching my old neighbor how to shoot long range.

I'd expect to see a writeup like this in one of the shooting magazines.Which might not be a bad ideal for a st...

Re: LAPPING

Well ffuries ---I sure as heck wouldn't know...If you may be asking me, I would say it all depends on who is doing the sayen'. I have come to understand that one should expect some things to be different. I had a coworker one time that had a .357 and loaded them to the max. After maybe a dozen roun...

Re: Arisaka Help Needed

So this appears to be a Type 99 ? I have no desire to sell this, so I’m not seeking a monetary value, seeking more of a history lesson. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Made at the Nagoya Arsenal. The small character in a circle to the left of the SN is the series marking which I can't find with ...

Re: Arisaka Help Needed

With what little I know it appears to be matching down to the bolt. It's a Type 99 which is stamped beneath the Chrysanthemum. If you take a clear picture of the left side of the reciever the smart ones can tell you the Arsenal and series number along with the year made. Also has the anti aircraft s...

Excuse my ignorance, but can one over lap a barrel? How does one decide or tell when enough is enough?

Re: IS & AIN'T

I think the prohibition of use of expanding bullets and soft tip bullets is covered under the Hague conventions of 1899 and 1907, which the US is a signer of. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I'll take your word on that - I don't recall the exact dates, that sounds right, b...

Re: IS & AIN'T

Also the use of soft points etc according to the IRC is banned under Customary International Law, although the US argues that at times it can be legal due to Military Necessity. So in a nutshell while the use of expanding, hollow point, soft point rounds in international conflict is banned, the US a...

Re: For Sale Section - Am I blind?

Am I blind or am I missing the for sale section of the forums? Got a Christmas bonus and am looking for an optic. Going to see if a board member has one for sale prior to ordering from a big box store. So, does the for sale section not exist or am I just blind? Thank you for putting up with my non-...

Re: What's it called?

On some forum a few months ago someone gave the medical term for the person who is a widow/ widower because of their mate's obsessive/ compulsive use of I-phone, laptop, PC, anything with viewing screens or etc to the exclusion of any and all family duties or life in general. Does anyone know what ...
