Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: M88/05/34 ?

I agree....I shoot nothing but cast bullets in all my military rifles and they shoot very well.
Like you said, I can't believe how cheap they go for.

Re: M88/05/34 ?

Yes, it is Turk marked with a new replaced barrel. Date on receiver is 1939.
It is set up where it doesn't need the clip to load it....you load just
like any mauser. I don't see any import marks.

M88/05/34 ?

Does anyone have any idea what a M88/05/34 rifle would be worth? (Ballpark)
It's in really good shape and shoots very well. You don't see much about them.
Thanks for any info.....

Re: New Star BM?

Bob, Would removing the magazine safety have any effect on this? I'm going to replace it and see if it changes anything.

Re: New Star BM?

Bob, That's very possible but I've been shooting 1911's for along time and have never had that happen.
I will pay closer attention next time to make sure I don't hit the slide stop. Thanks for the advice.

Re: New Star BM?

It locks back for no particular reason....The bullets are not jamming together.. I have 2 different magazines..one has a round follower and the other is flat...Not sure which one is doing it or if it's both. The mags don't seem to have much play up and down...about 1/16" if that. Could it be that my...

New Star BM?

What would cause the slide to lock back after 2 or 3 rounds fired? It might work for even 4 or 5 rounds
and then the slide locks back before the mag is empty. Doesn't do it all the time, but enough to be a
problem. Thanks for any info.

Re: Spanish 1916

I have both....308 and 7mm and there both in really nice shape.
I'm glad I got them when they were still in nice condition. The ones
out there now are in pretty bad shape.
