I had doubts about it being a refurb or not, the finish is very nice and with it being 1944 i though I might get lucky. I do agree that it's likely a refurb that never got the stamp. Thanks for the info.
I will be post photos later today. I don't know much about these pistols.. but I now have one, let me know what you think. (I'm pretty sure it's a non refurb as there is no refurb marking to be found) may someone that knows a thing or two can say a few words about it. Thanks.
Sending in your book is not required. You can keep the book for your own records or discard it. Don't take my work for it though, looks it up. It's right on their webpage.

While I agree that this is a dick move, it says right in the listing "NYC, NJ AND HAWAII DO NOT BID" Unless they edited the listing to add that after you bid, I suppose that they have the right to refuse to honor your bid. Might have come down to what side of the bed they got up from in the morning...
