Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Reloading dies for 7.5 swiss

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I have successfully loaded for my k31s, my g96/11, and my k11, using only the Lee dies. [/quote So your not having any chambering issues on the older rifles? They chamber just fine? My main worry is to buy the dies (about 50 bucks up here in Canada) and then h...

310-300 rook questions

Does anyone know what brass could be used to create .310-300 rook brass? As well what bullet would be optimal for the cartridge? I know its a bit different from the 300 rook cartridge, there is very little info about this cartridge unfortunately

Re: Unknown German pistol

Just a dumb question how do you think it may be German.. Any markings at all.. What I find amazing about this style of single shot target pistol is how many makes and flavors they made, and how unmarked many are... from what my coworker told me it has German Waffen something marked on it or somethi...

Unknown German pistol

My coworker has a pistol that we can't make heads or tails of. We think it's a German pistol that's break action that apparently takes a 17 calibre round (centerfire by the looks of it. Any ideas?

Re: Colt New Service

Just out of curiosity Lamontagne, what about the revolver makes you think British private purchase rather than Canadian private purchase? I've always heard that one of the reasons that many Canadian soldiers purchased S&W and Colt .455's was because the British had first shot at Webleys and that it...

Colt New Service

I have a Colt New Service chambered in .455 eley that was made in 1916. I believe mine is a commercial purchase that was bought by a British officer or soldier who was looking for an alternative to the Webley. She has some significant bluing wear and id put it at about 60% bluing but she still locks...

.455 Webley reloads

Is Hodgdon Trail Boss a good powder to use inside of .455 webley reloads or is the casing just too short to get an effective charge? It would be under a 255 grain .454 bullet. The revolver would be a Colt New Service manufactured for the British in 1916 to supplement the shortage of Webleys. I assum...

The rifling twist is made for a heavy bullet. You'll really see it shine.

Re: 7mm mauser for rolling block

when i took this little baby out to the range she worked like a top. The loads will need to be dialed up a fair amount because they were going under 2000 fps. The reformed brass from 30-06 to 7mm worked flawlessly. No pressure signs or blown primers and the bullets werent tumbling at 100m. She seems...

Re: Bodeo revolver

this one is in original finish. that looks really good, nice original finish. How's the bore look? Mine has a nice shine to it. Do you shoot yours or can you not find ammunition? I make ammunition for mine and its a pretty good shooter. Had to get a custom bullet sizing die but once i got that then...

Re: Bodeo revolver

Thanks for the photos. It is the real beauty! Original finish! Bodeo/Glisenti - a solid frame six-shot DA revolver in 10,4 mm Italian caliber. Loaded through the gate on the right rear of the frame behind the cylinder. Connected to the hammer on the ABADIE system . An ejection rod was provided bene...

Re: Bodeo revolver

as long as they are cap and ball they might count as antiques i believe, it falls into the complicated nature since you can have cap and ball be antique but then an inline muzzleloader using black powder can be considered a non-restricted which would require a licence. Its so ridiculous if an antiqu...

Re: Bodeo revolver

It's not even black powder. Our antique laws are a little convoluted but dumbed down as long as it was made before 1898 and doesn't take modern off the shelf ammo (can't find it and have to make it yourself basically). As well yes as long as it's an antique you can own it without a firearms licence....
