Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: 91/38 accuracy issue

How is the muzzle crown? The barrel crown seems to be perfectly fine, the rifle itself i believe is unrefurbished and was barely ever used in its service life since the barrel is nearly mirror bright, not bad for a 1941 91/38. I could always see if i can find some prvi 156gr bullets so the weight w...

Very fair price. A rare pistol in it's condition.
And that is in Canadian dollars. So that would be about 450.00 or so American dollars.

Is the Chilean contract particularly rare?

Re: 91/38 accuracy issue

Bore is a mystery since I haven't slugged it but a .264 bullet hardly enters the muzzle. It isn't counterbored and I'm using hornady. 264 140gr sst's

Chilean Steyr 1911 pistol

There is a Steyr 1911 (1912) pistol for sale that was made for the Chilean contract in the early 20th century. The seller is asking 650.00 Canadian for it. Is that a fair price to ask or is that way out of the market realm?

91/38 accuracy issue

I am having some issues getting my 91/38 carbine to print on paper at 100m. I am using a 140gr hornady sst bullet over 30 grains of H335. Should i be aiming wicked low at 100m since the sights are calibrated for 160gr bullets? I'm puzzled with the sights since they are fixed at 300m battle range i b...

french 1892 date.

If an 1892 revolver has a serial number G prefix, what time frame was it made? No barrel date from the owner as of yet

Re: Carcano 91/38

alright, it matches the date on the receiver and also matches the serial number as well. Everything on the rifle appears to be matched,

Carcano 91/38

I have an italian 91/38 carbine in 6.5x52mm. Looks to be in very good condition. Barrel looks mint and bolt matches the receiver. There is what appears to be an arsenal stamp on the stock. Is the stamp a refurbishment stamp or is it an original factory stamp that was put on when the rifle was manufa...

Enfield M1917 Rifle

I managed to pick up a m1917 rifle back in 2013 for 275 dollars after tax (unsporterized). When i asked the shop owner how long the rifle was on the website he said less than 20 seconds. When i managed to go pick up the rifle i was blown away by how it looked, all it was missing was a rear sling swi...

Mas 36-51

I've had a mas 36-51 for years and i believe it was once an original purpose made mas 36 that was upgraded to the 51 designation. The marking on the receiver looks more like a 36_51, the dash is definitely not centered and looks more like an underscore and the serial number itself isnt one of the do...

Starline .455 Webley brass

Does anyone have any experience with the new production starline brass for .455 webley they are making? Is it good quality and worth the money? Or should i simply stick to my fiocchi brass for now?

Re: .455 Webley reloads

I'd have to check but, IIRC I chose a light load of Bullseye in mine(probably what I had on hand)? Steve currently im using hodgdon HP-38, very light load since the casings are not very long but it seems to do the trick, next time i end up loading up some loads for my colt new service i will load u...

Re: Polish Radom VIS35

What parts of the pistol (particularly the type 1) were serial numbered, so far i know the barrel, slide, frame, main spring housing, grip safety and hammer match. Is there anything else i should disassemble and check or did i nail all the spots?
