Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Gas Cylinder Refinish

That's what I was thinking: grill or header paint

Re: M1917 Stock Finish

Thanks, I think I will replicate the original finish with raw linseed oil. I used this finish on a Savage Enfield awhile back with spectacular results

M1917 Stock Finish

I picked up a 1917 that was put away after it was re-arsenaled after WW2.
Three days of removing the storage grease from the action and extremely dark stock a beautiful walnut stock emerged. Not sure of the finish. Would linseed oil be correct?

Jungle Carbine Stock Restoration

Acquired a sporterized Jungle Carbine.

Fore end was cut an inch forward of the band location. Should I slice on a 3 inch piece of walnut and keep most of the original or fabricate a fore end from a No 4 fore end?

Re: Nagant revolver

The only issue with these Is you can't hit anywhere close to where your aiming! Nice pistol

What type of cleaning rod for 42 BCD K98K

What type of cleaning rod is used on a 42 BCD K98K?

Numbered or unnumbered?

What is the shape of the rod end?
