Re: CMP announces how Army surplus 1911s to be sold

These pistols to be sold by the DCM have been paid for by the American tax payer and War Bonds. The greed that the DCM will price these pistols will be a crime. The old CMP would never do that to the American shooter or collector. Rapidrob, Rapidrob, Rapidrob you should at least do a little researc...

WHAT about the other neglected holidays ?? ST. SWITHINS DAY. , AND NATIONAL DONUT DAY /?
give your idea to the USPS. although national donut day wouldn't be a good idea, we already have a tremendous population of fat f**ks. why celebrate to add more to that population?

Re: What's it called?

someone gave the medical term for the person who is a widow/ widower because of their mate's obsessive/ compulsive use of I-phone, laptop, PC, anything with viewing screens or etc to the exclusion of any and all family duties or life in general. Does anyone know what that is called not a medial con...

Re: Old army gas mask

M9A1 gas mask. nice memento :) The M-17 was the gas mask that replaced that in 1959. I see they already fielded the carrier for it. as the carrier in the picture is for the M17. it probably took a bit until the mask was fielded to korea. I "liberated" my gas mask before I retired ;) . a M25 tankers ...

sorry, I can't answer that. only reason I did mine like that, is once I zeroed it I don't want to mess with it

Re: The American Fork Canyon Murder

One weekend around 1974 ..................You’ve all heard about preserving a crime scene? These bozos parked their cars and tromped all over the area by the road where tire tracks and footprints might have told something. Eventually they carried the girl away in a body bag, again without checking ...

Re: Private gun sale question

I've sold very few firearms over the years, less them 5, locally. the way I handle it is I annotate for myself, make, model, serial number and caliber of the firearm I sold along with the name and address of the buyer I sold it to, from their DL. and check carefully if they are the legal age to own ...

Re: US ARMY USING BB GUNS

Once I got to Germany, we never actually qualified again. all we did was "familiarization", just firing a few magazines without even going to check the targets. I was in an admin unit, as a mechanic. Hopefully, the 11b's and other "combat oriented" troops got more than we did. my first unit was in ...

Re: US ARMY USING BB GUNS

Quick Kill In the years that followed, the U.S. Army became interested in instinct shooting for Vietnam-bound soldiers. They had a regular training program given at Fort Benning, Georgia, not far from Lucky’s home in Columbus. They called their program “Quick Kill,” and tens of thousands of inducte...
