Re: SHOOTING RANGE

I bought one of the shooting benches but it is so flimsy that I only used it once. it's been my experience that most things that are made of plastic and spindly legs are not worth looking at, let alone pull out money buy, and all these commercial portable shooting table fit that criteria; cheap mad...

Re: Thompson M1A1 from my collection

Some of us live in states where you can't own them, even if you own a house. In my case I can't even own a semi auto remake, because I can't even own a SBR. very true, and a shame you can't own a SBR let alone a MG. but I was directing my post to steamer. Az. allows ownership of MGs, as well as all...

Re: Firearm stolen, Dublin Ohio

It's my vehicle. Usually the bag is removed. I was lazy. Usually the truck is locked. I was negligent. oh man :( . the stars and moons weren't in your favor that night. at least the insurance should cover some of the loss. you probably took care to take your gun and lock your truck all the time. th...

Re: Firearm stolen, Dublin Ohio

wow, he didn't even need to break in, the door was unlocked! he is bold, took his time, and carefully went through the center counsel setting the stuff he didn't want nicely on the passenger seat. he even closed the door when he was done, then calmly walked away like nothing happened. huh, for a thi...

Re: He said it was a Norinco...

what that is, is a SINO-SOVIET SKS. 1) it has the Cyrillic battle sight 2) and this is the biggie - the barrel is screwed into the receiver, and not pinned like the typical Chinese made SKSs 3) it has a blade bayonet 4) the stock is not the typical catalpa soft wood, it's a hard wood stock although ...

Re: Your Favorite .22

I have to say my ATI STG 44. because it actually has the weight and feel of a real rifle, instead of a pop-gun. which is the only reason that is the only .22 I own :)

we really need our own song for the Thompson now...
unlike the PPsH the Thompson didn't play that huge a role in arming US soldiers. a song about the Garand would be better suited to acknowledge it's place in US small arms

that is one very nice "TULA Samovary" :). next to the T34 tank that is a famous iconic weapon of the GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR, that the Russians dedicated it's own song. :)

some people really get their panties all in a bunch and are so Incensed anytime they read or see what someone does to their mil-surplus rifle. that I have to wonder, don't they have anything else going on in their pathetic life? that they have to get mad over what someone else does with their proper...
