The pistol is in the process of being sent back for the recall. I also have a loose mag latch...

Hoping Ruger has the parts to fix my P-85?? My family had a P-85 years ago... should of never sold it:(

Quick update... My local gun shop had numerous problems with various brands of 9mm ammo. I returned the pistol and ended up with a Ruger P-85. The extra Star BM mag is for sale.

Well... Went to my local gun shop and purchased two boxes of Winchester 115 gr. FMJ loaded to NATO specs (plain brown cardboard box) anf took this pistol to the range. My reloads are just for target practice and my not have enough kick for the Star pistol. I'll have to try some Tula and another factory load. Thanks for the advise!!

I try to reload all my LRN bullets at or a tad less than 900 fps. most of the reloads shot from this pistol were loaded with 3.9 gr. of Bullseye. Just purchased a Star BM from a local gun shop here NE Pennsylvania. Nice bore and very minor bluing wear. Hoping it's a good shooter like Kevinofborg's pistol.

Lee Crimp Die for 6.5 Arisaka?

I am reloading cast bullets for my Arisaka T38 rifle in 6.5 Arisaka cal.

Anyone use a Lee crimp die??? If so... should I get a custom made die or can I use another type of 6.5mm rifle Crimp die?? :think: :think:

Lots of good advise!! Do you crimp your cast bullets with a Lee crimp die?? Can you use the Lee Carcano crmp die??
