Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Japanese type 30 hook safety Rifles and Carbines

I jsut looked quickly at gunbrokers ended auctions , 5 or 6 ended auctions from 175 to 1000 dollars. If you sign up for gunbroker you will be able to view ended auctions. Its helpful when you know what youa re looking up. I also have a few Jap rifles to sell but having trouble setting a fair price o...

Re: Feels Good

I know how you feel, after looking down the barrel of Hurricane Irma and the rifles that did not fit in the safes , I decided it was time to thin the herd. I sold about a dozen also and nearly paid cash for my new/used truck.

value and interest of 49/56

What are thoughts on the 49/56 rifle? I have one for sale and it seems to have no interest at all. It is also listed on cmp and has had a lot of views . I am not up on surplus rifles only US rifles but have fired this one and its a great shooter. I thought 650 shipped was a fair price from checking ...

Re: Case sticking in the chamber

Thanks for the good info, I disassembled the bolt on the Finnish rifle last night . It was pretty dirty inside with dried cosmo. I smoothed the surfaces somewhat and will test fire again soon. This may have been the problem rather than the ammo as I suspected. The bolt feels smoother but tighter, no...

Re: Case sticking in the chamber

Re: AR-10 Upper - Best deals now?

I have purchased a few uppers in 223 and 762x39 from 22 mods for all on the East Coast of Fl . My uppers have all worked flawlessly and were very reasonably priced. The last gun show he had several 308 uppers and I plan to pick one up at the next show. Give them a call and speak with the owner , Sco...

Re: Need Help/Advice on a 1903 build.

Finding a receiver seems pretty tuff these days , a reasonable priced one anyway. I have a Santa Fe 03A3 with all USGI parts less receiver. I have had my eye out but not ready to pay 300 for one. I think thats sound advice to find a sporter.

Re: Foreign Garands

You are correct Steve, believe what is meant is M1s that are out of Country now and may be brought back. The cmp description of M1 sales page originally was US rifles , later they added Danish and Greek returns. They are still USGI rifles lent to other Countries and returned. The word is Korea has a...

Case sticking in the chamber

I took my Finnish M39 and M44 to the range this eve and I enjoyed how they shoot . They are very accurate and the Fin has a very nice trigger pull. The two started having sticky cases after 10 of 15 rounds. I am giving the chambers a and bolts a better cleaning tonight and will see if that helps. I ...

Re: Any thoughts on these rifles

I guess I would describe two of them as field grade and the other as service grade . Honestly I have no desire to shoot them as I have others I shoot. I really jsut do not have the room to keep them . I understand what you are saying about keeping them but I have so many others that these just do no...
