I could not find info on a .38 Largo cartridge in Cartridges of the world???? I did stumble onto this interesting post about the ammo & pistol. That is one thing about Spanish Civil War and Spanish American War used guns.. there are clues that they were there, but there is not alot of Proof. Picked up a SCW Mosin that had a spanish remanufactured hand guard.. where as there is no proof this was done in Spain, there are other examples of SCW...

Are we talking 8mm largo or 38 largo??? Personally, I love the 9mm largo round.. It goes into so many wonderful Spanish Pistols and Rifles..
