Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: So many German rifles lets make lamps out of them

   That is how you get rid of firearms--- just make a lamp out of a bring back K98k or maybe a M1. Or how about all those nasty shotguns you see at shows.... https://ccs.infospace.com/ClickHandler.ashx?encp=ld%3d20180919%26app%3d1%26c%3dgo.02%26s%3dgopherprivate%26rc%3dgo.02%26dc%3d...

Re: Spurs and the Great West

In looking at traveling to the West I know one must be alert for Snakes and Bears..
So dug out an old Colt ad for what to bring for a Bear..
This ad is from the 1910s.. Hell of an ad..

Re: Bought the story...the rifle was cheap

How well does the Bolt work compared to some of the M95 and m90 conversions.. I have heard people say that guns got alot of the Bolt stiffness when they were reworked and converted.. This is closer to the Original configuration. And has anyone ever seen and M90/24 converted to 8mm.. I have a real th...

Re: Why are guys going crazy over 300 black out

Well do keep in Mind if you apply that same argument of "Why the heck do we need this" to broadly we may have to toss out 90% of the guns & calibers we own..

Hey lets wait 50 years and see what happens..

Re: M38 Carcano wall hanger

To neat for words... Many thanks... I know I may be asking to much here, but you would not have a couple of before photos :) like when it came out of the ground??? Now not burying a rifle before, I confess a little ignorance.. but would think the gun full of grease would have protected it more??? Go...

I found some FN 7x57 surplus but it’s made in the ‘30’s. I’d assume this is corrosive and best left alone? It’s 174 FMJ’s.
Nothing is wrong with corrosive ammo that a little water will not fix after shooting.. Especially in a bolt action rifle.... It started life eating corrosive ammo..

For all the infamy of Doc Holliday he only killed 2 men in his gun slinging days and that includes Tom McLaury shot down in that alley down from the OK Corral.

Re: Brazilian 1908 non matching Long rifle.

I have never purchased off a proxibid auction.. I have gone to auctions that have been selling on Proxibid also.. And to be honest many times I have felt that the descriptions on the Proxibid were incorrect or flat out wrong.. And I was glad I was not going to be getting that in the mail.. But those...
