Re: JFK

But if you stood in the spot where Zapruder stood, he would have looked behind the wooden fence and would have had t...

The going rate is around 33 cents per round- too much in my book for hang fires. I do like the box.

Per the box, I loved the side rope handles with the metal inner liner, You can put a lot in them after you get rid of the ammo..

But for me one of the real enjoyables is testing out various sur...

Re: Ethiopian 8x57

Tried a few rounds (30 ).. To be fair all of it went bang... But there were a good number of hang fires.. most went off instantly.. Maybe 30% went off with slight delay.. A few went click...… bang.. I would not get more with Romanian, Yugo and Turk still out there. But the wood shipping box is real ...

Re: JFK

Oswald had Winchester-Western 6.5x52 ammo that was only 10 or so years old. Not at all similar to decades old Italian surplus ammo stored in Africa under poor conditions. I suspect the show tested the poorest condition surplus available. Came across this a ways back on the ammo https://www.thefirea...

Re: JFK

Usually what a person says about the JFK assassination tells you more about that person then about the assassination.. But A very good book to go to is Case Closed: Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of JFK by Gerald Posner. Incase you do not have time to read it you can listen to it for free o...

An Automatic Ross Rifle

Came across this in the way to other things, never heard of an automatic Ross before. But I love the ingenuity these wild and wooly inventors used t make bolt action rifles into automatic rifles like the Charlton or Turner.. https://www.forgottenweapons.com/the-huot-machine-rifle-a-ross-conversion/ ...

Re: german stuff

They sold in the 1980s, They were in the $200 range.. And there are a fair number of variations because of the different rifles they chopped shopped.. Now today I think you can buy them in the 300 range.. Its a great shooter and in 7.62x51 to boot..
