Got this on eBay. It was originally a M1889 bodeo bandoleer that was converted later on to use with the Beretta semi automatics. Still looking for a M1889 pattern. So how does the ammo fit in there.. Looks like it would hold 6 or so rounds in each pocket side by side or a magazine laying flat????? ...

Thanks Indy It has inspired me to do research on my Grand Fathers war records. One of them was a veteran of Stalingrad If you ever get the chance and desire to share I would be interested in hearing.. The Russian front is just one of those insane no holds barred struggles and if that was not enough...

Help ID this Badge on some BAR Bandoliers .. Picked up a couple of 1918 BAR Bandoliers today. Do not know if they are Repro or not. They are not marked on the back anywhere. The Authors Grandfather was a Correspondent for the German propaganda magazines Die Wehrmacht and Signal. He visited the Atlantic wall in May of 1944 and then in 1955. He got in touch with Germ...
