Actually I did just that to a pre-bubba'd No5 I really like it.
Boyd stocks, S&K Instamount rail & rings, 5 round Santa Fe mag (I have the 10-rounder it came with), Leupold 3~9X40 scope, Uncle Mike's qwik adjust sling & new swivels.

It does look nice

Re: Enfield No5

Fair enough... I'll see if I can't find a pic. I thought you were offering to buy it. Hey another thought, get a complete rifle, strip off the parts off it that you need, turn it into a sporter, and you can get some of you money back selling that.. a little more work, but solves the emotional conne...

Not for sale. The rifle was once owned by a now deceased uncle and will be handed down to another family member once my time is up.
It starts to be so costly anymore trying to bring back a sporter.. Still would be nice to see some photos..

Re: Bogart and his pistol collection

All in all, it looks like a very respectable collection for the day. He clearly had good taste in handguns. From what I can see, He has a Nice Luger, 2 SAA, a 1917, a 1911, a Colt 1903, looks like a little colt 25 acp.. (you would think he would not want one after the way he took one from Peter Lor...

But all the rest of the rifle is matching.. Serial number is B9283 and that is stamped on the Barrel a...
