Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: A BIG A FISH

If that is a real fish, it looks like some type of Gar or Sturgeon.

Re: 1907 Izhevsk Dragoon

Finn stamped, yet they kept it original. Must have been quite accurate, as it was, when acquired. Looks like maybe a Finnish sling. All in all a great, collectable. Thanks for the pics.

Re: 1917 PTG M91 Japanese trainer

That's smart. If the extractor IS being forced over the rim, that extractor will eventually bend out of shape. Did you find 7.62x54r dummy rounds somewhere or did you make them?

Re: 1917 PTG M91 Japanese trainer

I assume ,when the single shot is loaded, that the extractor is "forced" over the rim?

Re: A tale of 2 Bannermans

Excellent Photo Display. Thanks. Overall barrel length looks shorter than 91/30, or is it just the angle of the photos?

Re: Private gun sale question

That is interesting. I assume you are not a dealer. First my gut says that no law enforcement agency in the Austin Texas area would waste time and man hours (money) on a sting to catch one private party selling one gun to one other private party. That being said, If it was my situation to handle, I ...

Re: New Star BM?

Are bullets jamming together, or is it just locking back. If it seems to lock to the rear for no reason it should be the feed lips of the mag are either too close together, or the rear wall of the mag extends too high. The max pressure of the mag spring when fully loaded seems to be keeping the maga...

Re: FIRST JET AIRCRAFT

Holy Spumone'. Never knew about the jet from Italy. Was FDR preparing in advance? I buy that. Did he cause it? Only by withdrawing our support ( of oil ) which was totally justified. ( my opinion ).
