You could do an oil scrub, which uses a 50/50 mix of Boiled Linseed Oil and turpentine or mineral spirits. I put mine on with a green kitchen scrubby then wipe off the excess. Let it dry a day or two before you mess with it.

I have bayos for each of my rifles, and, in some cases, have more than one. So I had to limit which ones might be my favorites to four. The 1891 Argentine probably is my favorite because it was the first bayonet I bought--got it with my paper route money when I was about 11 or so. The Garand bayonet...
