Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

2016 Dallas Police standoff

This is an excellent, albeit long, story about the take down of Micah Johnson, the BLM killer who murdered 5 Dallas police officers in 2016. As a point of reference, the DPD used a bomb delivered by robot to take out the killer. https://interactives.dallasnews.com/2018/standoff/ Scroll after opening...

Re: 175 gr Nosler RDF bullets

Still using the Berger 175 VLD with great results. These bullets are rumored to be close to the GP11 bullets in performance. I've heard that the Bergers are close to the GP11 bullet also. The advantage of these Nosler RDFs is that I can get them for $119 per box of 500. Some years back I bought som...

Re: 175 gr Nosler RDF bullets

I picked up some of the Nosler 175 gr .308 RDF's. Very similar to the Barnes Match Burners

I noticed the meplat is much smaller and more uniform than the other bullets

Various 175 gr .308 bullets...

Finnish M-91 B barrels

I've got the hots for most things Finnish, but especially their rifles. Over the years, I've picked up a number of Finnish M-91's , including several "B" barrels. Two to them have the Liege proof marks http://i.imgur.com/0Gkh0K6.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/mNgEFAy.jpg https://i.imgur.com/3osPcwR.jpg h...

Re: My Liege marked M91

Probably a wise move.

I'll start my own thread and post a few pics of my M-91's. I kinda hate to post a bunch of pics of my rifles in someone elses thread

Re: 175 gr Nosler RDF bullets

Worth trying. They appear to be very good competition bullets. The GP11 used a propellant that is now marketed as Reloader 17 if I'm not mistaken. I've heard that Re-17 is the same powder that they use in the GP11. I've been using 175 gr Nosler Custom Competitions with Re-17 in my K31's and they lo...

Re: My Liege marked M91

Nice, I wonder if they really are that rare? Perhaps uncommon would be a better position. From what I remember all but about 5k of the "B barrels" were used for making m39's. The remaining 5k were made into m91's. So not a huge number of them. That is interesting. I've got the two Liege proofed B b...

Nice, I wonder if they really are that rare? Perhaps uncommon would be a better position. Hard to say...I have found 7.62x54R Net to be a reliable source. As previously noted, they rate the Liege proof model as an 8 on a 10 point rarity scale. I have a "Stepped" barrel Tikka 1927 M-91 that 7.62x54R...

175 gr Nosler RDF bullets

Has anyone used these in their milsurp reloading? I'm wondering particularly how it would work in 7.5 Swiss. It has a high BC...higher than the Berger 175 gr VLD, which is often compared favorably to the GP11 projectile. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1018126684/nosler-rdf-bullets-30-caliber-308-...

Re: My Liege marked M91

Nice rifle, Steve

I've got two of those Liege marked M-91's that I've bought over the years.

Love those Finns
