Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Springfield M1903 what do I have here?

Serial 199XXX and the barrel was replaced 2-18. It is basically a M1903 with a 1918 made receiver , and thus it may be sporting it's original barrel. It is considered a "low number" and some are hesitant to shoot them, some aren't. It may have not gone thru a major rebuild. It has an early stock as ...

BSA War Office Miniature .22 rifle

Years ago I got this at an auction. I was able to identify it as a "BSA War Office Miniature Rifle", but haven't been able to learn much else about it. May have been used before the Enfield training rifles. http://i.imgur.com/4IyTXtt.jpg http://i.imgur.com/fdoWMjJ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/muYvfgY.jpg ...

Re: 1903A1 National Match rifle

It was a decent price for a National Match in this condition with paper. I got a letter from the Springfield Research service and a copy of the original sales ticket. Here are some pics taken after it arrived. http://i.imgur.com/Y0O7sWe.jpg?1 http://i.imgur.com/bZvsSqf.jpg?1 http://i.imgur.com/0mOFT...

1903A1 National Match rifle

Last year I saw a 1903 rifle on auction, billed as a National Match model. It looked right and I requested a Springfield Research Service serial number check on it. The inquiry came back with a hit from the SRS...1903A1 NM DCM sale, 9/12/1938. Based on this, I went ahead and put a bid in on it. I di...

Re: Astra 300

Thanks, guys. The lighting in the auction pictures makes the bluing look light, but it is actually quite dark and shiny.

Indy, I think the slide locks back. I'll let you know for sure when I pick it up.

RWS, it is .380.
