Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: New CG 63

Thanks, Ernest

Say, before I got a chance to download the image that you posted, it disappeared. Now all I see is the word "image". Could you PM it to me or repost? That was some great information. I have several unmounted Elite rear sights and was hoping to swap one out for the Solderin.

Re: JRA 1903A4 Accuracy

Nice rifle and nice shooting, Hr!

I'm currently working on getting a Swedish Mauser and a 1903A1 set up for the vintage match.

Re: Argentine Model 1891 Infantry Rifle & Cavalry Carbine At The Range

Those are nice guns, stomper! Do you reload? I've shot quite a bit of 174 gr PPU in my Argentines and have not been impressed with the accuracy. It is a good source of brass for reloading, however. I've got a number of Argentine Mausers, including an '09 long rifle that the prior owner mounted a sco...

Re: New CG 63

Very nice. Those rifles are getting harder to find. They can be really accurate once you dial in the best handload. I used to have a CG 63, but sold it when I acquired a CG 80. Now wishing that I'd kept both. I can't tell what type of front sight you have, but they all have interchangeable inserts ...

Re: CMP vintage sniper match rifle

Wow! Very nice looking rifle, ET. I had Chuck Moline (ChuckinDenver) from Warpath Vintage do the build. He has a sterling reputation and a wealth of experience with 1903's. I've approached this project hoping to keep it under budget. Definitely had a few disappointments on that score. I got a great ...

CMP vintage sniper match rifle

A few years back I grabbed this sporterized high-number Rock Island 1903at an auction with the plan of converting it into a 1903A1 USMC sniper rifle suitable for the CMP vintage sniper matches. My sons and I are planning to shoot in those matches. https://i.imgur.com/y5XfmNi.jpg It had the C stock a...

New CG 63

I glommed a CG 63 a few weeks back at an online auction. The picture (one!) was kinda crappy and the description was worse. But I bid accordingly and I think it worked out. 2016 Dallas Police standoff

This is an excellent, albeit long, story about the take down of Micah Johnson, the BLM killer who murdered 5 Dallas police officers in 2016. As a point of reference, the DPD used a bomb delivered by robot to take out the killer. https://interactives.dallasnews.com/2018/standoff/ Scroll after opening...

Re: 175 gr Nosler RDF bullets

Still using the Berger 175 VLD with great results. These bullets are rumored to be close to the GP11 bullets in performance. I've heard that the Bergers are close to the GP11 bullet also. The advantage of these Nosler RDFs is that I can get them for $119 per box of 500. Some years back I bought som...

Re: 175 gr Nosler RDF bullets

I picked up some of the Nosler 175 gr .308 RDF's. Very similar to the Barnes Match Burners

I noticed the meplat is much smaller and more uniform than the other bullets

Various 175 gr .308 bullets...

Finnish M-91 B barrels

I've got the hots for most things Finnish, but especially their rifles. Over the years, I've picked up a number of Finnish M-91's , including several "B" barrels. Two to them have the Liege proof marks http://i.imgur.com/0Gkh0K6.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/mNgEFAy.jpg https://i.imgur.com/3osPcwR.jpg h...

Re: My Liege marked M91

Probably a wise move.

I'll start my own thread and post a few pics of my M-91's. I kinda hate to post a bunch of pics of my rifles in someone elses thread
