Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: K31 help please

Ha ha no, Ireland and the UK have a complicated past and after 38 years here i still dont fully get it. Reloading is legal in the uk, you can reload in ireland at a registered range only. If you were caught with Primers and powder in private hands youd definitely lose your gun licences and possibly...

Re: recent sales price of mummy wrapped Enfield No.4

I will hold on to that pair of #4s. As a Century distributor during the era of those imports, I had a good number of consecutive #pairs and at least one triple consecutive # set. I took stacks of these rifles to Texas gun shows selling one or many for $189.00 each. I remember only ONE buyer that bo...

Re: recent sales price of mummy wrapped Enfield No.4

I have several other Unissued No4 MK2's, including my first No4, which I bought at a LGS years ago. I was cleaning out the safe a while back and noticed something about my old No4...UF A 15573-- only 27 numbers off my consecutive pair. Maybe I'm easily amazed...but I'm somewhat amazed that these rif...

Re: recent sales price of mummy wrapped Enfield No.4

Would my consecutive # pair of those #4s bring a extra premium? [/b] Hard to say...a few years back I lucked into a pair of consecutive serial number No4 Mk2's...one in the wrapper and one unwrapped but apparently unfired. I got the pair at an online auction for considerably less than the single on...

BRNO model 4 rimfire

Although technically not a trainer, last month I won this BRO model 4 target rifle. https://i.imgur.com/6SB8Ojq.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/KTaZ0Hf.jpg https://i.imgur.com/9eVyzXn.jpg https://i.imgur.com/iFO1wX8.jpg https://i.imgur.com/h5QqFjm.jpg https://i.imgur.com/2xZkaLD.jpg https://i.imgur.com/jo...

Re: New (to me) Ljungman

I have had some luck with 34.5-36.0 grs of IMR 4064, but with a flyer about 1 out of 5 shots. I think the problem is that powder loads in the mid thirty range does not fill the case up, resulting in inconsistencies. I need to make a gas adjustment valve out of the gas block, so I can use one of the ...

Camdyman repaired an Argentine 1909 stock for me that was damaged during shipping...couldn't tell where the break was.

He is an excellent craftsman.

I have had Ljungmans and two Hakim's over the past years. Very different approach to semi military rifles. The Hakims were LOUD. The AG42 B's were accurate. Enjoy it.
Thanks, Dude.

Do you have a pet load for your ljungman?

Re: M1917 warped stock, etc.

^^^ This is the conventional wisdom for the M1917 and 1903...upward pressure on the barrel at the tip of the stock, not touching anywhere else.

One other thing...might try flat base bullets instead of boat tails. I've heard that can help with the 1917.

Re: Swedish target rifle

The rifle arrived at my FFL last week. I looked it over before it went into his safe to started its 10-day "cooling off" period. I got a number of other rifles and a S&W Model 52, so it was a big week. It has elements of a CG 80. The barrel is a heavy profile Schultz and Larsen. Very similar to the ...
