Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Just what is a Spanish Mauser?

My thoughts on the subject: A Spanish Mauser: a Mauser made and accepted for use by the Spanish armed forces and police forces. These could be either made by an outside supplier or manufactured within country. These come in many calibers: 7.65, 7mm, 8mm, 7.62 CETME and cover multiple models THE Span...

Re: Help determining build date of DWM Model 1908

I too have read the double letters were from the second batch produced at Oberndorf a/n for DWM from 1911-14. I can't explain it as I have a DWM Berlin marked Ff. So I keep searching.

“SA”???
All the marking are visible in the pictures. Just the various “b’s”
SA = South American, not a reference to a specific mark.

Re: fnh cz27

I paid $500 for this one at a gun show over a year ago. It is late war production and operates like a Swiss watch. A look at completed auctions on Gunbroker shows a wide range of prices. https://www.gunbroker.com/All/Completed%2FBCI.aspx?Keywords=CZ+27&Timeframe=1&NoReserve=1&Condition=3&Sort=9 Adju...

Re: Lets see those Czech pistols

Here are mine.I've since sold the CZ75 Compact .40 . The CZ 82 and the CZ27 are still with me. Like the OP said, the 82 fits like it was made for me. The CZ27 is a late 1944 production fnh code. CZ brothers 003.JPGcz27.jpg I'm wanting to add a CZ82 to my collection. The ones I am finding locally so...

To get an idea of how the price on surplus has gone up, $35 in 1962 is worth $298 now.

 Well done, Sir. Very well done. The Brazilian 35's and vz24s I have seen for sale look like they sat rotting in the Amazon jungle for years. Persistence pays off.

Oh that crest is killer... Looks like no wear.. I have seen a couple that showed some light wear on the very top, and a couple that were so bad that unless you told someone what you were looking at they would not know.. But thats the best I have seen outside of Balls Book. That is maybe the 3rd bes...

Streets of Stalingrad game kickstarter

If any of you remember the old Avalon Hill and SPI strategic simulation board games this Kickstarter campaign should warm your cockles. A building by building simulation of the Battle of Stalingrad. I think I can give up a few boxes of ammo for this one :D https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/680099...
