Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: SKS cowboy companion

A possible Navy Hunter SKS for $100!
Wow and congrats.

Post a few photos of what you bought and focus especially on the mount.
We can help point you in the right direction.

Re: Stoked! M24/52c.

That is an impressive group for 100 yards.

You need to join one of the shooting matches we have here.
With a group like that, you would definitely score high.

Re: 2018 - Mosin Nagant Prices

I am thinking that in about 10 to 15 years, I will rent a table at a local show and sell all of my Mosin's for $500 a piece. Laughable, I know but I think people will buy them. I am no Candyman, but I have enough Mosin's (36 in total) that if I sold them all at that price I could take my $18k and ru...

Re: What happen to the 50 cent piece?

You can pick them up at a local bank that distributes coin. Personally, I try to pick up at least $20 in half dollars at least twice a month. I have been doing this since 2013, and like you I agree they do come in handy while paying. Bums like them too. Using them as loose change you need to be prep...

Re: 2018 - Mosin Nagant Prices

I guess the question is who really wants to buy a Mosin for such a high price? There are new collectors made every day that didn't ride the cheap surplus wave that we did. I guess that if you really want to own one today, you are going to pay to pry them out of other collectors hands. Apparently, t...

I would love to buy a M1938 Mortar for only $20.
As the ad says, it "has many practical uses". I can think of 4 already 8-) .

2018 - Mosin Nagant Prices

Did anyone else see the 91/30's Classic was selling last week? Most of them were "run-of-the-mill" 91/30's that had very little to no collector value. They were selling for $299, and they sold out in under 3 hours! How many of us here are sitting on 20+ Mosin Nagants that were under $60? I kno...

Re: Star BM failure to extract

I try to reload all my LRN bullets at or a tad less than 900 fps. most of the reloads shot from this pistol were loaded with 3.9 gr. of Bullseye. My reloads work fine in my Walther p-38 (AC-42), Walther Creed, Taurus Pt-99AR & PT-709 and Springfield XD-9 Service pistol Before you do any further tin...

Re: paper targets

99% of the time, I shoot at steel targets at various distances in the desert. The audible "ding" is all I need to confirm a hit. I only shoot at paper targets when I sight in. As an Engineer I have access to CAD software and I make my own targets on both 11x17 or 8.5x11. I use recycled paper thus it...
