That's funny, my account is still active and posting pics with no fee. Hmmmm?
I got my email from them on this subject yesterday, so yours is probably coming soon. I'd just about had enough of them anyway as the pop-up ads were becoming ridiculous.

Re: Hello from Family Firearms!

It was those short conversations that helped me stay sane when I worked for the Antichrist at my old job. You may not realize it but you may have saved me from complete despair being able to get my mind off that mess for several hours at a time. How's the knife salesman doing? He's probably grown up...

I did this in the early '90s before being able to instantly photograph your mistakes was easy. If I did something this knuckleheaded today it would be recorded for posterity fo sho!

Re: Iowa: Critical Self-Defense Law Takes Effect July 1!

I work within a mile of the Capitol building, hasn't been a problem yet, no blazing gun battles in the hallways. What do you know, the law abiding concealed carry permit holders aren't the problem after all.

Re: RC K98k

After reading about all the fakes being "made" in eastern Europe I'd be afraid of getting took in today's market. When the RC's we're plentiful not too long back we were all not paying much attention to whether or not what you were buying was altered. I don't think it was going on to the degree it i...

Re: SMLE .22 trainer

Nice info on the real McCoy's. I had a jjco put together from Lithgow parts, the date on the receiver was '45 but the letter code wasn't correct for that time frame. Anyway I knew it wasn't correct but it sure looked great and I sold that rifle several years ago for a little more than I paid so wasn...

Re: The Trick to Using Mosin Nagant Stripper Clips

I think Burner may have hit this one on the head. I've tried several different ones including what I think we're the good ones and never had great luck. I will try this procedure as you guys describe. It may have been my technique was the problem.

Re: M1917 or SMLE?

SMLE by a SMILE, there are still good ones out there, my n1 mk3, is BSA from 1917/18 and has a beauty of a bore, brother Bob P on this site sold it to me around a year ago. Be patient and wait for the right one, but go for the SMLE first.

Bill, I use Photobucket and just paste the address in between the two [img] dealies. I hit the button that looks like a mountain with a sun rising over it.

Re: EAA Windicator .357 (Nickel)

I'm glad to see a "review" of the revolver as I've never owned one or knew someone who did. They've been in the picture for years, always assumed them to be questionable in the quality department but based that solely on price which isn't necessarily always correct. Would you say they are about like...

Re: AR15 A2

AR prices are way down, I've bought two AR's in the last three weeks. It's hard to stay away when they are cutting deep on the prices.
