Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Lucky is best!

I lived in Oklahoma in the early 90's and again 2011-2015. The Wanamachers Gun show is the finest gun show I ever attended. Even after I moved away my twin brother and I would make occasional trips back when we could. You will see items there that you could go to gun shows in Iowa or Missouri or Ark...

Re: Something I dug up

Indy, I don't buy your less dramatic rendition, I have missed plenty of times and never got the desire to throw my firearm in the weeds. That pistol would have represented months of income to obtain. After careful study of the photos, I contend that pistol was lost during a high speed getaway from a...

Re: "Mummy wrapped" Enfield #4/Mk2(F) value??

I'm seeing rifles that were in not very good condition that abounded on line in that 250 to 300 dollar range only a couple years ago, are now closer to five bills. I had the opportunity to buy mummy wrapped one years ago, I never did, it's my own fault for not being smart enough. You should get your...

Looks to be a bubba glue on to me. Don't recognize the symbol but I'm not too knowledgeable on the Nazi stuff.

Re: Garand found locally. Educate me, please.

I bought a blue sky import rifle from a man in California several years ago, he said the bore was great. I could drop a thirty caliber project through it as the riflings were gone. He sent me back my money, at least he didn't mean to be a crook. I subsequently bought several from the CMP, definitely...

Re: What happened to Zeliard & Candyman ?

As of October of last year, Candyman was still working his job in Baton Rouge. I'm hoping he's doing ok, I've reached out to him on an old phone number, I'll let you know what I find.

The threaded barrel was done by the Swedes for attachment of a wooden practice bullet shredder. The woodworking skills look to be Bubba, likely from the US after importation.

Re: Your Favorite .22

My favorite 22 is one I bought from "Preachere" back in 2011, it's a Polish Kbks 78 Wifama trainer. To this day I've never seen a better looking beech stock and it shoots like a dream.

Re: Just for interesting reading

I just read the Aug 61 issue, the month I was born, and it was very entertaining, Thanks for sharing that! I noticed that the garands where going for about 80 bucks, a new Weatherby deluxe under 3 bills, and assorted Enfields from about $15-$25.

Pakistan...................

My guess is a Kyber Pass, Frankenenfield. I agree horrible pic's, probably look even more like a hack job if the pic's were better.
