Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: My repro Guardie del Duce project

I don't have the precise number, but my best guess is fewer than 100. The moschettos were made like this in one of the armories - probably Terni. Re: My repro Guardie del Duce project

It's a stylized fascist symbol specific to the moschettos carried by Mussolini's personal guards. None of those are known to exist outside museums and certainly none can be found in America. My project is to make a reproduction. Ren

I've had the receiver engraved for a couple years and finally traded for more nickel plated parts. Since it's rainy today, I dived in converting an M41 handguard to M91 moschetto configuration. If you have the expanders - or can make them - I'd go 357, 375, 400 or 410 then on to 430. Ren

Posting a pic?

Okay - I think I have a handle on the new pic drill. These might be slightly off topic - our fave moderizer can delete them if so. Picked up the medal in Belgium. I'm not sure what it is, but the price was right. il Duce's black shirts? I really wanted the hat, but 850 EUD was a trifle over budget. ...

Made it back!

This is basically a test post to see how things work. As always, I'm available to decipher markings and relative scarcity of various Carcano models. Renaldo (thought you were rid of me, didn't ya? ) vaan der Hoek
