Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Link for SRF Target 2014 please.

I have updated the target link in the .22 Winter competition post. If that doesn't work for you just use the target links in either the 50 yard or 100 yard contest. Hope this helps.

Re: Winter .22 Postal Contest.

This is a recently acquired Winchester Model 69a. I added a Weaver K6 scope with a post reticle. It spent most of its life in a barn or garage. There was not much finish left on the stock and the metal has quite a bit of surface rust. I found some Winchester stain and did a novice refinish. The meta...

Winter .22 Postal Contest.

I thought a .22 rifle contest might bring in some more shooters. Depending on submitted entries this may run until spring. Any .22 rifle is fine. There are 3 categories. Scoped at 25 and 50 yards. Open/peep at 25 yards. You may use the same rifle every week. 1. .22 Rifles. 2. Any sights. 3. 25 and 5...

Re: 100 yard Sniper Oct-Nov

I picked up a nice Swiss 1911 a few weeks ago locally. Love those Swiss rifles! I was shooting Prvi Soft Points from a forearm rest with iron sights. I am going to try and find a taller front sight as she shoots pretty high or install my Swiss Products scope mount from my 96/11. jeff Oct1911.jpg

Here is my August submission. I was just happy all ten shots hit the paper albeit only 9 counted. More practice needed!

Mad Minute.

There was a Mad Minute contest posted and now I don't see it. I went out and tried it this week and was quite humbled. I used my Yugo 24/47 and 54 dated Yugo surplus ammo on stripper clips. After a 5 shot sight in on another target I set the timer, laid out the ammo and the bench and stood beside th...

Re: 50 Yard Postal Shoot Aug-Sep

I am still playing around with cast lead in the Remington. This time, instead of TrailBoss, I opted for Alliant 2400. Unusual mild weather here for Aug. Shooting in heat and humidity is no fun.

The victory goes to Cattus Borealis with his higher X count. Well done!

Nice looking rifles and great shooting!
Someday I may take up casting my own lead but as for now I have been buying them online.

Re: 50 Yard Postal Shoot June-July

Two more targets were shot today over my lunch hour. The temperature was a mild 80 degrees and light rain. I had the range all to myself which helps me to get back to work on time. I love shooting the cast lead loads using TrailBoss powder. They don't heat the barrels up and I can get by with just e...
