Re: Cold War gone hot match! Spring- Summer 2020

I dug out my Yugo captured K98. The ammo is 170 grain LFP in berdan primed Yugo brass from 1954 with 10 grains of TrailBoss. A nice gallery load.

Re: Who here uses a wet tumbler?

I am going to order a Universal de-capper from Grafs and start doing what you do. I am not a high volume reloader so this should work for the time being. I wish that I had started this a few years ago.

Re: Who here uses a wet tumbler?

For several years I just tossed my brass in old socks and ran it through the clothes washer. Then a sock ripped open sending brass all over the washer and some were stuck behind the door seal. I decided it was time to do something different. My sonic cleaner did ok but never made the brass really sh...

1941 M39 PL marked.

This is one that I won off auction back in 2010. I took some outdoor pics of it on a recent trip to Northern MN. I don't get many chances for taking pics outside. A very clean rifle with a mirror bore. One of my favs.

Argentine 1909. It was a spur of the moment gunshow purchase that turned out to be a solid shooter.

Re: Spring/Summer 50 yard Milsurp Shoot.

I edited the rules to reflect that you do not have to use the same rifle. Thanks!

The FR-8 is eligible. One of my favorites.

Re: Spring/Summer 50 yard Milsurp Shoot.

If you print the targets on card stock that helps. You could also use 2 targets with 5 rounds fired at each. I wish I could shoot that well.

Re: Spring/Summer 50 yard Milsurp Shoot.

This was my first time out with a long awaited purchase of a Finnish 91/24. It is a really worn out rifle but I like that look. The stock is in need of repair and the bore is bad at best. Needless to say the score reflects the worn bore and crown and me conservatively using .308 bullets instead of ....

Re: Spring/Summer 50 yard Milsurp Shoot.

I thought I would start a new contest for the Spring/Summer.

Congratulations go to Cattus Borealis for the top score of 96 in the winter contest. If you wish to start your own 50 yard contest I will delete this one.

Well done by all who shot the in the last contest.
