Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: My AR Pistol

How is the KAK Shockwave? I've got a KAK tube, and if it's a better rest/brace, I wouldn't be opposed to an upgrade.

My AR Pistol

Hey all. I was going to post this in pistols, since it is one...but it's an AR-15 platform, which I didn't see a subforum for. It's my first for 2018. Not complete yet, but remaining pieces in the mail. Built off an Aero lower. The Ghost Gun model, because I found it funny. I was gonna do a full hom...

Re: My FEG PA-63.

This one has been reliable so far. Eats my hand loads happy enough. Just had it out the other day. I may still throw down for a more modern 9, because why not? Lol. But for what it is, I enjoy it. Gotta scrub it out soon. Not because I shot corrosive, but it's bad form to get lazy with cleaning.

Sako M39

Hey all. Been a little bit since I posted. Figured I'd give my last 2017 acquisition a show. 1942 Sako M39. Haven't torn it all the way down yet, so don't know which receiver it was built on. Seems to be an older hex... It has the divot where the imperial crest would have been. Wartime stock. One re...

Re: Sharing: My 1911.

The finish is Cerakote on the frame. Slide is parkerized. Been holding up fine the last few years. Seems pretty tough to me. I like it.

Re: Bulgarian Makarov

Huh. Learned something new. Thanks for the data.
I figured they were police issue because they were distinctly not army. I could swear I've heard them referenced as such elsewhere, but that also could have easily been incorrect.

Re: My FEG PA-63.

Umm. I used to have a PA-63. Sold it. Regretted that. Found this at my local shop. Is nicer than the one I owned previously. Bought it. It has a benefit of still being all metal, and a bit lighter due to alloy frame. I like 9x18, and chromed bores. It has a benefit in that it could double as a carry...

Re: My FEG PA-63.

I'm not well versed in Walther pistols. I still like my PA-63. Lol. I'm guessing the difference is overall size?

My FEG PA-63.

Sharing the newest pistol. Hungarian FEG PA-63. All matching including the magazine. Gave it a quick wipe down and oil. Snapped a couple pics while at it. I know these were military and police pistols, but don't offhand know much of the service history. I understand they're PPK clones, alloy frame, ...

Great grab.
I was still pretty young when the wall came down. One of the last things I remember watching on TV before we came back to the states. Very cool that you saved the military rag talking about it.

Stoked! M24/52c.

So, one of the shops I like does an email list/inventory sheet. Checking it out last night I noticed a couple neat items listed. They had a few Yugo Mausers. Two of them were 24/52c models. I never heard of that before... So Google to the rescue. From what I read, these were rebuilt/refurbished Vz24...

Re: Found a 98/22.

Speaking of cleaning. Always clean your used purchases. Lol. Just because it looks passable doesn't mean it's clean. Patches, from rumpled solvent soaked ones (homebrew solvent), dry, oiled (couple), dry.
