Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: How to adjust the trigger pull of the 1895 Nagant revolver

It worked beautifully on mine, and I love that there is NO! alteration of the weapon.

Re: Carcano Folding Bayonet

I'm looking for an unmodified 80/'87 bayonet, round here they seem far rarer than the folders, which are "hen's teeth" themselves

Re: Unspeakable Caliber

I've an 80/87 that managed to keep the full length barrel, although the stock was, well, . . . sporterized? As I happen to have an 80/87/15 that has a damaged magazine but a great stock; if I'm ever home long enough I plan on a careful resurrection of the 80/87 to it's pre battle of Adwa glory :)

I still have not crossed into the shadows, but I will if a reasonable example tempts me.
SWIHARTMARK, if 7.35 is unspeakable, what about 10.4 ? :)

Re: Terrible M41 Trigger

When I got mine, the trigger did not move freely, and would not return to rest position. Upon dismantling, I found that it looked as if the original "cosmoline" had never been cleaned from the trigger components, all thouroughly encrusted in orange red gunk. Cleaned it properly and it worked like a ...

maaaaaybe a clip or two in their pockets?, but the majority of their are clearly flat/empty. Anybody have the ability to enlarge the shot enough to see what the men still in the truck have? at least one suggests Mauser.

Re: Source for 7.35 Ammo

I have one .264, 3 at .267, and 2 at .268; I may try the Hornadys, though they are not cheap. I've used up the surplus pulls I had lucked into.

91/30s in use today!

Current shot of Venezualian militia deploying with 91/30s! clearly a propaganda shot but I do not think 70 year old Russian bolt actions send the message the Venezualian president wants to send :) https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/venezuela-shuts-2-radio-stations-orders-military-exercises/2017...

Re: Uruguayan Dovitis Mauser

6,5x53R? is this what it is for? I've one round I found in a box of "collector cartridges" years ago, when I grabbed it I thought it was an odd Carcano cartridge; that misapprehension did not last past getting it home :)
