Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Danish Krag Carbine

No, Krag carbines are hard to find and command a significant premium over full length rifles.

Danish Krag Carbine

I picked up an addition to my 8x58R collection... a Danish Krag Carbine, which I believe is an artillery carbine. It's in very nice condition, although the bolt is not matching to the rifle. I probably paid too much, but wanted a Carbine to go along with my Danish Krag Rifle and Swedish Rolling Bloc...

I postedthat one on the old site, will try to get around to posting details again as requested. So, just back from seeing Dunkirk and.... wanting an unBubbafied Enfield! Really strange, got home from the movie and the cropduster was working all around the house. After you see the movie you'll get i...

Re: Who Bubbaed your Enfield?

Tommy that's a beautiful sporter! I need to post a pic of my Golden State Santa Fe 1941 Supreme...it's a pretty good looking rifle too, that I bought specifically because it was a Sporter that was done nicely.

Re: Who Bubbaed your Enfield?

I did :-( But it was already in a basket and the barrel had been destroyed! I think I cold make the case that I saved it :-) http://www.m-guns.com/largefoto/picts/ulfls/27032012/12781474111.jpg That is a really cool Sporter! You need to add that to the Sporter Section and explain the details of the...

Because with two boxes full of 'bits and pieces' they don't get any prettier than this :

L42A1 (top) & No4T (bottom)
Those are beautiful rifles! [emoji106][emoji2]

Re: Why would anyone want an Enfield

Nice collection Candyman! I used to think Enfields were sort of awkward looking too, but now they are one of my favorites. I don't have as many as you, but I have a few. [emoji106][emoji1]

And - in the UK. An extract from one of my recent Shooting magazine articles : ".......During the 50’s the Military began to dispose of their ‘obsolete’ or ‘surplus’ firearms, many dealers purchased these and ‘sporterised’ them by cutting down the forend, removing / replacing sights and even adding...

I also like how they look...and their construction quality and reliability is pretty good too. Of course I'm a Beretta fan anyway, and have a few. [emoji106][emoji2]

Re: Swedish m96/38 pawnshop sporter

This is a fine rifle that I have tried unsuccessfully to convince Prof to sell to me at a profit...he did let me shoot it though. [emoji106] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk The question is, are you now scouring the pawnshops looking for a nice sporter like mine? I'm convinced yours is out there so...

50 Yard Postal Shoot June-July

Cool. Thanks. That SmithSights target post helps a lot. --Prof I definitely agree, after shooting your T-53, that the Smith Sights are helpful. Looks like I'll be spending some more money due to your influence. It's still cool if I blame you when the wife finds out isn't it? [emoji6][emoji106] Sent...

Re: Revolver picture thread

Nothing real old here, nor are they amongst my nicest revolvers, but these two are my favorite shooters...my model 64 and my "slightly modified" model 60. I have another model 60 in original configuration and stocks, but this 3" revolver with the large front ramp sight and adjustable rear sights mak...

Re: Maryland bans 81 firearms!

According to the article this happened 4 years ago...regardless, Maryland is a state that I don't want to even visit anymore. Seems like it's turned into a liberal cesspool.
