Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Remington Rand

He had to do something to the throat of the barrel with a file. Said it needed to be smoothed out.

Remington Rand

I picked this up a month ago. Correct barrel, grips, frame, mag, , slide, etc. Seller said It would not feed ammo. A fifteen minute trip to the 1911 smith and she runs just fine. Not bad for $500.

What’s It Worth?

I saw a post on another forum by a guy looking for one of these. I’ve had it in the parts bin for some time. What’s a fair price to ask for it? It’s a nose cap for an M94

New to Me M39

I picked this up tonight. It took me an hour to get most of the petrified cosmoline off of it. The bore is mint. I believe it’s what you call a B Barrel and is Finn matching. What do you think of it?

Re: Winchester Garand

$1400 for an all “correct” Winchester is a bargain. You could part it out and easily double your money. I’ll buy it if you don’t.

Re: Something to think about

It’s your rifle. Do with it what you will. Swap parts, stamp cartouches on the stock, re-park it, swap parts, cut the barrel down into a tanker, or mill it into a BM59. Don’t forget to check headspace.

Breda in Italy also made M-1 Rifles
I have a matching Breda and a matching Beretta. Each one is very nice.
